Working with Desert Homes has been a wonderful experience! I live in Colorado but have been wanting to purchase a place in Joshua Tree for years. When I was finally ready to take the plunge I reached out to several property managers. When I spoke to Alex, I felt right at home. He and his partner, Nadim, walked me through every step of the process, from finding and purchasing my home, to listing, managing, and maintaining it once we closed. They charge extremely competitive rates but provided all the service of managers who charge much more. I trust them to take care of my vacation home that I love so much. These two are wonderful and I would recommend anyone give them a call if they have or are considering purchasing a vacation home in the area.

Not only did they save me thousands on the deal, they are also managing the property and making incredible returns. I’m hesitant to write this review because I’m already asking them to find the next investment and selfishly don’t want them distracted. We had a wonderful time at the cabin. It’s clean, cozy, all amenities are clean and professional!! very comfortable. Feels like living in the forest, very quiet and relaxing. We saw some hamming birds! Easy access to go shopping. Perfect getaway from busy life.
I was searching for a large house in Leadville to use for personal stays as well as managing the property when I'm not there. The folks at High Rocky Homes were super helpful every step of the way from finding a house all the way to closing, furnishing, and getting the property management off the ground. Additionally, their model helped me save nearly $10k on the house purchase, which helped tremendously with startup furnishing costs. While searching for my house, their insight into the market was invaluable. Very knowledgeable, approachable, and easy to work with.
I cannot recommend Alex more highly. He was not only instrumental in my offer being accepted over other offers but we had an unexpected situation arise during the closing process. Alex was the calm in the storm and we closed on time!
